klx22 will have the first pick, but for the rest there is still room for movement, with eight available playoff points remaining.

Congrats to all for making the finals. Will this draft be done through the message boards, or using the new SOM draft app?

That’s up to Commish MBW and the board, I guess.

My two cents: I could probably figure out the new app; however, because it’s Christmas and New Year’s, and because I’m not familiar with the app, I would just as soon use the boards in the traditional way, painful as it is, and let the draft take the usual week or so after the semis post season.

FWIW, the email alerts for new posts (when subscribing to a thread) seem to work pretty well in the way of a reminder.

I have used the new draft app and it is quite easy. I am not sure that they have the capability to draft ballparks though. They did not the last time I used it.

I give it 75% odds that O'Hearn goes first pick overall. Then 100% that Nola goes pick #2. That does little to help me decide between Betts/Trout/Yelich with #3. Such a tough choice. Trout is the best value but is so risky with that injury. Betts is a great value but 3L. And Yelich is the lowest value of the 3, but is a monster in a lefty park. Hoping O'Hearn falls to #3.

Leaving Glenn Sparkman still on the board...

I can certainly see O'Hearn going in the first round but it obviously depends on your team strategy. I think it is a safe bet that Jeep is going to take Nola in round #1. For the others mentioned on your list (Betts, Trout, Yelich), I personally wouldn't consider taking any of them in the first round - but that's what makes this game interesting. Everyone has their own ideas about how to construct a successful team.

Oh yah. You're sitting there at #6 and drooling over J.Ramirez. I'd say he has a coin flip chance of falling to #6. He is a pretty nice boy. I am considering him myself. I just love Trout, but wish he wasn't so injury prone. I don't mind taking that risk in the regular season, but an ill timed 15 game injury can completely ruin an entire season in the finals. Seems like every Tour Set has a theme. Last year's set had A.Miller and C.Green, two amazing super reliever steals. This year, Treinen is good, but his value is markedly lower than either of those two guys. Doolittle's card is great, I just can't get him to pitch more than 110 innings for some reason. I want HAL to bring Doolittle in the first pitch of the 8th and not pull him until he reaches F8 in fatigue. No matter how I set Doolittle's control, HAL either lifts him before he is tired or lets him go til the F2-F0 range, both of which infuriate me.

In this year's set, seems like the theme is that the most valuable infielders are 2L, 3L type guys. Which is unfortunate, I hate when that happens. But that's why I love O'Hearn, you can draft that boy and let him hammer the @#%$ out of righty pitching and then take a few of the smaller infielder steals that are 2L and 3L and not end up with a team that is too lefty masher skewed.

Or you can just take Betts like you did on your last three tour teams. If he’s still available.

And leaving Glenn Sparkman on the board.
