Event 2 coming Saturday May 6
Posted: Sat Apr 29, 2023 9:59 amThe start of Event 2 is Saturday, May 6. Event 2 is a choice of $80M /dh or $100M/dh. This means that on Saturday, I will open two leagues and post entry codes on this forum. The window to enter a league runs through Tuesday, May 16. Note that as we approach the deadline, I may only have one league open at a time, so you are not guaranteed a choice of leagues if you wait until the end.
If you did not participate in Event 1, you can still enter the Tournament by entering Event 2 since points are based on your top 4 out of 5 events. Put your name on the sign-up thread and I will follow-up with a pm to make sure you know when leagues are open.
Among other things, the data below shows that the number of opening leagues in the Players’ Championship, just like Barnstormers and the Mystery Tournament, has returned to pre-pandemic levels. However, there is still room to beat finishing levels with additional sign-ups and by reducing the normal attrition that occurs. I will be persistent in messaging and in sending invites to the last league(s) to try to keep everyone in this year’s Players’ Championship.
