"For Finals draft order, I would propose the top 6 as listed. And then the next 6 would be ordered by 5 season score (used to determine semi-finals) + same scoring system used for prior 5 seasons (regular season wins + playoff wins + points for making playoffs, winning division, championship). And then break ties as occurred for semi-finals placement."

This is my calculation. Someone can double check the math. JimmyJames209/Lochinvars draft order is determined by their Championships 7th game (1 Post Season Win + 5 Championship)

The points accumulated in the semi-finals round (outside of the top 6) will be added to the manager's point total in order to produce the final standings.

I think the calculations proposed is weighted too much on the semi finals and less on the season.

There is a mistake in Lochinvars calculation. I had 96 wins during the regular season semifinals, not 85. Correcting that would make the MM and Lochinvars order the same I believe, with the exception of the order of Lochinvars and exwallman. I would lean towards MM calculation as it rewards entire performance vs overweight on Semis.

I just went by the standings page, not taking into consideration the playoff wins. You guys are so picky over here in Players. I will let you guys settle it or toss it to the 3 man board, and when all are in agreement, I will setup the Draft thread.

I'm not following the comment from exwallman and bob that there is too much weighting on the semis. Unless I'm misunderstanding it, the semis points are being awarded the same way as they are for a regular event. Essentially, the advancing semi-finalist's scores are a total for 5 events instead of 4, but all 5 events have the same weighting/scoring system, including the semis.

Apologies to Bob711. Totally messed your total up.
MM's initial proposal of 7. Semi Final Winner, 8. Semi Final loser, 9/10 other 2 Semi Finalists placed too much weight on the Semi Final.
This calculation is fairer & follows the earlier season conventions plus is the way draft order was decided in prior years.
