The drawback to the 90s game, in my opinion, is that there are ALOT of guys with one good year-or one good platoon year. Spotting and picking these guys up quickly will, Initially, give vets an advantage.
I actually still like the 80s game the best but there is a wider discrepency etween playuer values.
The 70s might be the best to start with. Just one tip though- there are ALOT of excellent, but probably overpriced, pitchers - there are always several 6million+ pitchers on the waiver wire and they are pretty fungible so I would suggest not to waste a high draft pick on any expensive pitcher.
