Seeking help on a gb injury reading

PostThu Aug 29, 2013 12:09 am

Don Hoak grounds out with runners on first and third. The runner on first is out, the runner on third holds. What kind of gb is this? Is this a gbC? If so, why doesn't the runner on third score? Can that happen if the infield is in? (Either way, he is outperforming a bad card, which is a whole other question.)

Thanks for any clarification.

I can't help with the whole mystery aspect of the game, but I do know a runner can be held with a ground ball C if the infield is in. Hopefully someone else can give you clarification.
