In the 70s are Ekersley, Reggie Cleveland solid 4th starter and the amazing Don Wilson. You can go far with those three.

There are so many 1B with power that Mike Hargrove is often available, and at a good price (3.46 in the 1980s). He has a great OBP and OPS and is decent enough at 1B and can play LF.

Howdy,

70s: "Kitty" Kaat, Jim Perry and Larry Christianson for SPs. Don Buford almost always turns in a solid season among position players from the 70s. I also agree with those who already posted about Maury Wills from the 60s. I always draft Wills and Kubek-great "D" for the money.
