County Stadium - Low Single/Low HR Ballpark

PostSun Dec 07, 2014 12:05 pm

Can anyone recommend OF's who excel in this park. 150 games in, I have best pitching in my league, but can score enough runs to win consistently. Have Runnels, Bonds and B Robinson who are OK; but Yaz is hitting .225 w/ 2 HR's.
Thinking I need a RHB OF'r with high BA, but Carty and Cepeda have both been dropped by others very early.

Can you post a link to your team? If you are really 150 games in, you can't make any moves.

Sorry, meant 150 AB's.
I picked up Kuenn, Carty and Versailles in place of Yaz, Pagan and Kranepool and won 2-3 last night.
Think I have Sims '68 card which isn't bad for the $$.
A little short on LH power, but County rewards RH power....
Love my SP'ing; Shultz/McDaniel might both be one-sided

Thx for taking a look!

I don't have experience with the 1960s set. I did notice that your pitching staff and Bobby Bonds are kicking butt. As a frequent player of the 70s, 80s, and 90s I would advocate patience, especially if you are over .500. I only dump players when I am almost certain they are on a really bad year. This is why a few short injuries early in the season can be a good thing. The best of luck to you, this is a great game and format! :D
