Expansion Team Wins 90 Games!

Ducky accepted the challenge to take an expansion team and came through big time, his Michigan Mayhem winning 90 games.

Every other team in the league protected three players. So, essentially the best 33 players were taken before he drafted his first player. But that didn't stop his team from amassing a +105 run differential and first place in the East.

Thanks guys. The pitching staff is what really did it. I think coming in with a completely clean slate helped versus having to protect players from the previous manager's team. No offense to him, but it allowed me to plan the team with more leeway.

Ducky's Mayhem won game 6 to force game 7 in the semi-finals.

The team they are playing is Jimmy_C's Stratzillas. Jim's team had the only positive run differential in the Central (and there was almost a hundred run difference between the next best team). Yet, they only claimed first place late in the season when they won 14 of their last 17 games. So, if you ever had a hard luck team (and who hasn't?), you can appreciate their coming back.

So, whoever wins, it's a great story: the expansion team versus the hard-luck comeback team.

Of course, perennial power franky35's Mermen, who swept their semi-final series, will have a say in how this story ends!
