I know gb A to SS or 2B will score the run from third if the infield is back--and it's always back in the first inning. I'm not sure if gb B will do the same.

this is my guy. best I can find is a gbB to SS or 2B also scores the run.

anyone know if a grounder to the pitcher scores him....that's one of his options. can't find that info anywhere

No, not if it's hit to pitcher (or to 3B or 1B).

I found a link to the rules that covers this. For groundballs to pitcher, you look at infield in results.

Also, you're right that a gb b to SS or 2B will score the runner (if infield is back).
