in game two of my season Eddie Watt was injured on a single against a right handed hitting DH...checking his cards there are no single + injuries but there is a ground ball 2B X on his 1967 card...and my second baseman is two rated so I assumed that would be the card...from what I can see that is a good card right?...tonite I am playing in games 109-111 and he is getting rocked to a tune of a 4.73 ERA and a WHIP of 2.01...am I missing something here?...am I reading this wrong?
Knowing a relief pitcher has a good card is a real gift because it is so hard to figure out if one has a good card or not based on results. Yes, it's bad luck he has done so poorly so far, but whatever you do, don't cut him!
well...Eddie rebounded to finish the season with a 1.84 WHIP...and Wilbur Wood gave up 54 HRs and posted a WHIP of 1.44 while on his /72 card...how I won the championship is beyond me...
HA!...wow man...I don't know...seriously though...I'm so frustrated with that season that I didn't even check any of that...even though I won the championship this was so unreasonable...Wood...Blue....Watt...1 ,2 ,3 in the Cy Young voting...what a joke...
