Something I have advocated for previously and feel compelled to do once again is for SOM to furnish detailed play by play of notable games at the conclusion of the simulated mystery leagues after the seasons have been revealed.

For most of this replay, I have utilized the 4 fielding Ron Hunt at 2B in the hope that he would compensate the poor fielding with his hitting, particularly on-base percentage. Although I have one of his better seasons (1971), it unfortunately has not happened. Prior to yesterday's games, against RHP, I decided to substitute the better fielding Paul Popovich (2 rating) at 2B. I am really curious as to how many GB 2B (X) rolls came up during the course of the game, as it may have been the difference in the No-No.

I would love to see in the mystery leagues an indication in the play-by-play log when a result is due to an X-roll at a particular position. I can't imagine it would reveal anything about the specific playing cards since player defense is static year-to-year, but it would be fun to see when defense is helping or hurting during the game. I've written in a few times to suggest it but haven't gotten a response.
