Relief settings at crunch time.

PostWed May 02, 2018 6:47 am

In the 8th inning of game 6 of the World Series, Hal left in Bob Humphreys, a journeyman and Jim kAat, whose setting was lefty specialist , to face the opposite side hitters. They got crushed and I lost the game.
Settings:
Kaat was quick hook and avoid righties
Relief and closer settings were normal
“Normal” should mean that in crunch time of big games relief pitchers would be used like in real life.
Thoughts?
