Have to like that Ruben Mateo 2001 season. ZERO AB's and SOM in their IDIOTIC wisdom puts this card in.

The stats are just missing on the card for 2001. The set is brand new, I'm sure there's a few small things they will correct.

He does have stats for the season, so it's just a glitch that will be corrected....

However, it gives me a chance to comment on the best way(IMHO) to retool the 70's and 80's set and that is by creating a CAREER AVERAGE card for all players. Not only does this give you a true representation of a player's stats ( disregarding a fluke offensive season or the injury-plagued campaign where they failed to perform up-to-par), it gives players with abbreviated careers--Lyman Bostock and Doug Ault leap to mind-- a fifth year to qualify for the "Mystery Game".
