Fatdaddy054 and his Boston Ray Sox continue their mastery going a very impressive 16-5 for the week. The Sox are now 59-31 and have the league best run differential of +105--almost doubling their run differential over the past week.
KaiserWill4 has his Minnesota TwinDiamonds in second place--the club went 14-7 for the week which, while very impressive, still meant the team fell 2 additional games behind the Sox.
MFL536 and the Cleveland Mets went 11-10 for the week and are now tied for third place with a record of 44-46.
DWG and the San Diego Giants went 9-12 and are now tied for third place with a 44-46 record.
Central: There was a change in division leadership in the Central.
Nol15736 had an excellent week going 14-7 and are now 49-41, good for the division lead.
The Chicago BlueJays, who had been leading the division went 10-11 for the week and are now at 48-42, one game off the pace.
The St. Pittsburgh PiratedCardinals also went 10-11 and are now 46-44
The Texattle Marinerangers went 9-12 for the week and remain in the cellar with a record of 41-49.
West:
The BC Manager leads the Detlanta Brave Tigers--the club went 13-8 for the week and the club is now 47-43, good for.a 4 game division lead.
Burley Norseman and his NY Yanks&Washington Nationals went 9-12 for the second consecutive week and are now at 43-47.
The East Coast Phil-Ins under the direction of Fench33 had a tough week going 6-15 and are now at 36-54.
Ron4Yanks and his LAD/Balt DodgeBirds also had a tough week going 5-16 and their season record now stands at 31-59.
Five teams participated in the mid-season draft. The 5 teams were below the league average and could use funds ranging from 2.2 million to almost 9 million to add players from the 6 undrafted clubs. Here's a look at the draft and a check in on the players have performed in the 9 games since the draft.
LAD/Balt DodgeBirds: Lance Berkman was added to the roster---Lance has struggled in his 35 plate appearances--he's at .138/.286/.241.

The NY Yanks/Washington Nationals added three players--Mark Buehrle, Bobby Jenks and Sandy Alomar Jr.

Bobby: Six innings pitched, 1 save, 8 strikeouts --ERA of 4.50 and WHIP of 1.17

Except for Roy Oswalt, none of the drafted players are off to particularly good starts.
A look at the mid-season MVP for each team:
Boston: Pedro Martinez leads the best team in the league--he's 19-4 and has thrown 186 innings striking out 234 batters. His numbers are 1.94 and a WHIP of .79.
Minnesota: Randy Johnson is also having a great season--he's at 17-3 and has struck out 242 batters in 176 innings.
Cleveland: Victor Martinez has 360 plate appearances and a slash line of .304/.366/.494 with 18 doubles and 15 home runs.
San Diego: Barry Bonds has been up to bat 404 times--he's been hit by 7 pitches, walked and incredible 123 times and has hit 19 home runs. His slash line is .347/.554/.639 earning his highest paid player salary.
Colorado: Todd Helton has been solid all year---he's at .344/.439.553 with 22 doubles and 15 home runs.
Chicago: Sammy Sosa leads the league in home runs with 39. Sammy's slash line is .325/.443/.773
St. Pittsburgh: Matt Morris is 10-5 with an ERA of 3.58/1.15. Matt has thrown 133 innings.
Texattle: Josh Hamilton has been up 254 times---he's at .333/.387/.718 with 21 home runs and a team best 58 RBI
Detlanta: Ivan Rodriguez is handling the catching position and has contributed a slash line of .305/.378/.498 with 25 doubles, 11 home runs and 55 RBI.
