The decade doesn't really matter much to me. What does mater is the salary cap. When you have at least a $200M cap you have the ability to make a lot more managerial choices and can get more involved in the game, instead of just waiting on the next draft. With $80M and the penalty for grabbing a free agent it pretty much means you have to play with what you have after game 40 and you have to carry as few a number of players as is allowed.

What do you think?

By the way, I probably do like the 60's best, but the 90's are growing on me. When is Strat going to come out with the 2000's decade?

I personally would never play in a 200M mystery card league. That would be like "how fast can you dump a card and grab this other guy to try out" kind of league which wouldn't appeal to me. There is plenty of cap room in a 5/10/20 drop penalty 80M league to make as many moves as you need to in my opinion.

I like 90's cardset but I don't fare very well in those "uneven" ballparks like that Skydome so I'm sticking with 80's where all the ballparks play fair from both sides.

I would be all over a 2000s Mystery format.... Or how about being able to combine the 70s and 80s into one set? The Mystery format is ingenious and I wish they would come out with more, more ,more Mystery related players and sets... :D
