I have a question about the listed rosters on page 1. Are we required to use all of the players listed there? What if we don't want to use every single one is my question. Also where did the total salary numbers come from? Are these the total salary of the players listed beside each team on page 1?

Page 1 lists two types of players (1) players that must be on your opening day roster (that is, on your roster for game 1), and (2) possible free agents. If you have cap space, you can sign your free agents during the preseason. During the regular season, you can cut players as usual but your pick ups must come only from your allowed free agents.

The team salaries are based only on the players that must be on your opening day roster.
