i have sent neil another message but I do not expect him to respond. He reads my messages in another league we are in but never responds to me. Maybe whoever he gave his franchise choice to can reach him? Otherwise lets post for a replacement to take his franchise instead of holding up 11 people.

Yesterday, in another league, I sent neilm messages with the names of all of the Detroit players copied from the Excel spreadsheet. Although he did not respond, this morning I see that he has read the messages. Short of making up a team for him, there is nothing more I can do.

I would say to give him a few more hours, a day at most, for him to put his team in, then get a replacement.

ok I will wait until first thing in the morning and if neilm has not entered we should be able to find a quick replacement for Tigers and opening day can still be monday.

Please think about anyone you may know who is a Tigers fan or I will take them if you know a diehard Giants fan that wants my franchise. Whatever it takes to get this off the ground.

I will build a Tigers team as well in case that is what needs to happen.

Does this guy even understand how this works, and that we're all waiting on him? He did the same thing last week during the team selection, which tells me he's never been in a league like this and probably doesn't know what has to go on. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he just needs to be educated.

I think a replacement would be wise. If he has a problem picking a team and entering a team, imagine what would happen if he drafted a team with non-Tiger players and didn't respond to requests to make the team compliant?

I think we should post now for someone else and add the caveat that the spot will become open at midnight or some specific deadline time. That might cut down on the time required to find a Tiger-fan replacement manager.

Jimmerw55, that sounds great to me, but it is up to genegrid, who put the league together.
