70s league for Lovers of the HR (League Filled!!!!)

Name of the league is "Bombs Away in Atlanta G A"

It's an $80K '70s mystery card league.

The idea is to see how many homers we can generate.
There are some other strategies to be considered as well, the selection of defensive players, batters who get on base often, and the bullpen can play a big role in if those homers are solo shots or grannies.
Also, all of those SPs with ERAs at 3.80 or above ARE NOT equal.
When do you try and draft your five starters ... early to make sure you get who you want .... or do you just go for your hitters first?
There is plenty of strategy to go around so jump on in.

The rules are pretty simple:

RULE 1.) All teams must use Fulton County Stadium as its home field.
RULE 2.) There are 60 Starting pitchers with a Career ERA of 3.80 or HIGHER. Those are the only starting pitchers who can be used.
RULE 3.) You must have 5 of those 60 eligible SPs on your draft card, but cannot have more than those 5. DON'T HOARD!!!
RULE 4.) If HAL gives you more than 5, then you must immediately drop the extra SP.
RULE 5.) During waivers you must address your SP situation to make sure it is compliant.
RULE 6.) That means the rest of the pitching staff must be RP only rated.
RULE 7.) Have Fun!!!!

The password is as follows: Milo Hamilton

Anyone who can guess why that is the password (you have to do more than tell me who he is, you have to explain why he is the password for the league) get's a big ol' virtual High Five.
If you've actually experienced it (Those who know will understand this statement), then you may get a Chest Bump as well!

Have fun and God Bless,
-Austin

I know Milo called Braves games. Is it because he called Aaron's 715th?

He did call the 715th, but when Fulton County became the "Launching Pad" in the early 70s he coined the phrase "Bombs Away in Atlanta G A" as his home run call for Braves homers in Atlanta. As a kid in Mississippi I tuned in to WSB at night and could hear the signal come and go .... always waiting for that HOMER CALL, because I knew that was good!!!
