Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

Rookie question: How do you interpret the Play by Play tab when reviewing a game? Below is a sample and a few questions:

1 R.Smalley 1 Line Out b-0 F9
2 A.Bumbry 5 Double b-2 F9
2 2 B.Darwin 4 Double 2-H b-2 F9

In the above:

a. What do the numbers IN FRONT of each above at bat result mean? For example 1 Line Out for Smalley? What does the "1" mean? What are they an indication of?
b. Does the F9 mean anything? This seems to be after every play so I am assuming it has no meaning.
c. I understand the numbers before the batter to be in order: the number of outs, the base (1,2,3) that has a runner on it at the start of the at bat. So Darwin comes to bat with 2 outs and a batter on 2nd (e.g. 2 2). Is this correct?

If there is any interpretation FAQ someone can point to, much appreciated. Thanks!

a. Those are the number of pitches that batter faced. This number has no bearing on anything in the actual simulated game.
b. F9 is the current fatigue status of the pitcher. F9 is not fatigued at all. As the number drops the more fatigued the pitcher is and the more outs he turns into hits as a result. See the following link for more on this.
