Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

In one of these "decade" leagues, does Strat pick one particular card and use it for the season or do they take his average season? I mean is it possible I got like the one bad year that Gary Carter had or will he bounce back? Thanks for any help you can provide.

One of the 5 listed cards is randomly chosen at the start of the season and that's the card the player plays on throughout. The challenge is figuring out which card is which.
It is very possible that a player who gets off to a slow start will not necessarily recover.
However it could be just a string of bad luck rolls on a good card and perhaps he will recover and play well.
