70s theme league - single team / AL East and KC to load

PostFri Apr 19, 2013 2:17 pm

This league is just the 70s, meaning that your team is composed entirely of players that have a carded year from the 70s. Carded years from the 60s or 80s don't count. Here are the rules: (1) sign up to draft a single team, for example, the Cubs; (2) your opening day roster must include every player who is carded only for your team during the 70s. The list for each team is shown below. (3) after 12 teams are drafted, there will be a four round draft for free agents (4) players (including free agents) can only be added to your roster if they have at least one carded year during the 70s for your team; a listing of the higher salary free agents is shown below.

Some other minor points. Divisions will be assigned to match the 70s divisions as much as possible. Team names should identify your team. 80 mil cap, DH, 5/10/20 player cuts. You can trade for one player that is not carded for your team during the 70s. The order of the free agent draft in each round is in reverse to total team salary and is not serpentine (i.e., the lowest salary team picks first in each round). Randomizer will be used for team draft order. Teams play in matching stadiums.
