What is the record for most semi-final losses in a row.

My teams have managed to lose five straight semi-finals and six of the last seven with one team losing in the finals. The five straight semi-final losses were consecutive while the six of the last seven included one playoff miss so I guess it should be seven of the last eight, six semi losses, one final loss and one playoff miss . The teams all finished first in their respective divisions with win totals of 90, 89, 90, 90, 103 and 93. The team that lost the finals had 93 wins. This is getting very frustrating. Has anyone had more than five consecutive teams lose in the semi-finals?

Best I have managed is 3 straight semi-finals losses. I also have 3 consecutive finals losses to my credit.
5 straight playoff appearances is pretty good. 5 good seasons of play. Cool.

Just broke the streak by having a real bad team finish out of the playoffs. Have another team that will start playoffs next week. Hoping that can be the team to break the semi-final loss streak.

Add a sixth team to the list. 94 win team, best record, best run differential by far in the league, out in three games. 6 of my last 8 teams have made the playoffs only to watch all 6 get beat in the semifinals.

My teams have managed to lose five straight semi-finals and six of the last seven with one team losing in the finals.
Not even close. I just won an 80's championship but I had been eliminated from 15 straight playoffs(3 100+ win teams) prior to the finals win, including 10 semi-final losses dating back to a finals win probably in the first year the 80's game came out.

I guess I have something to shoot for!

I'm 0 for 2 so far. (I should be happy that I've made the playoffs both times that I've played).
The odd thing is that my closer for each team (and arguably my best pitcher) never pitched. That would never happen in a C&D game.

The streak is now up to 7 teams in a row losing in the semifinals. All seven won their respective divisions only to lose the semis. Ugh!

I am up to 7 straight on my current streak. finishing up a 60s team that won 92 games/division winner/best +/-
i posted this a long time ago with the original discussion of why when my teams win division, have better +/- and a better regular season record against my opponent, i never stand a chance.....usually lose 4-1
However, when I have a wild card barely limp into the playoffs......i almost always make the finals???!!!???!!!
Gets old after awhile

Well the saga continues and this time it couldnt be in a worse venue. My 70s tournament, best in the league with a 97-65 record and a league leading plus 146 run differential goes down to defeat in the first round. Nine semifinal losses in a row. Team had a five game winning streak to end the season, lost to the wild card team which was on a 6 game losing streak. I think the baseball gods are telling me it is time to quit this game. 9 playoff teams in a row that did not advance to the finals. Not one single solitary credit. I really was hoping this team would vault me into the elite 12 of the tournament.
