Make moves or stay with the team you drafted?

PostFri Feb 14, 2014 12:51 pm

From the "pretty good drafting" discussion below, there has been a debate about what works better - making a lot of moves or standing pat with the teams you draft and waiting to make sure you have a bad card before making a move. I checked out the top 20 teams in the mystery tourney and found that one team made zero moves and another made 192. The distribution of moves is about equal when you look at these ranges:

0-30 moves
31-60
61-100
100 +

So, I think that supports the conclusion that there are many different ways to build great teams. I did note the teams that were not in the top 25 on January 27th and who are now in the top 20. Three of those four teams have made 80 or more moves.

Note - for people reading this who are not in the mystery tourney, this is for four different teams - 2 are done making moves and 2 are about at the midpoint of their season.

Thank you very interesting. Was is 0-30 moves per player across all 4 teams? Or was it 0-30 moves per individual team?

That is the combined total of moves on the 4 teams to that point. So, for the 0-30 moves, one player has made zero moves on four teams while another made 29 moves on his four teams.
