Sorry I'll be in by 10 tonight. Never understood why playoff teams load first. My team is focused on winning the Title.

That's why I asked what the playoff managers thought about the championship teams giving me their picks, thus letting us get loaded a week early. Most of us appreciate not having to wait an extra week between seasons, but I was afraid I might get your reaction.

Normally, playoff teams loading first isn't an issue since we don't usually complete the supplemental draft until the playoffs are done. However, I do like moving things along, so next season I will propose we load from last to first instead of first to last (i.e., playoff teams will load into the West). I will put this to an official vote after Season 8 begins (and do the vote in-game instead of on the forums).

I realize that won't help you this year, Scott. Also, even with the change, you might be called upon to load your team with the championship series still being played if the West and Central load quickly. So, we will also vote whether to scrap the idea of having the two finalists sending their picks to the commissioner to let the draft finish early.

Alternatively, you can elect not to create or load a team until the finals are over this season. However, please let us know here if you choose this path.

I will be loading shortly tonight. My comment was mostly in jest... It's not like I'm giving them locker room talks or performing bed checks. But i would vote for playoff teams loading in the West.

And thanks for moving the draft along, great idea!

We are now loading the Central Division. Passwords have been sent to the Central Division managers (thanks, Jayhawk!)

By the way, the Mermen and the 3Gs are having an amazing series with the series even at two game each. There have been three 1-run games and one 2-run "blowout."

I'm a big fan of the "Git-R-Done" approach also.

Congratulations to jayhawk81's CBGB 3Gs for winning season 7 of the 90s Keeper League. They won a tough series in six games that had four 1-run games.

The 3Gs had the league's best record and best run differential, so--every once in a while--the best team actually does win a championship!

Congratulations, Jayhawk!
