1) 2 2 0 0 7 0 - This is the line for Jim Dwyer "Sim Misc". He has no pitchers card rolls but is 2 for 2 in the singles portion of the ballpark FX chances?
2)I have Buck Martinez on a team and he was injured early, with a strike out vs lhp's. There are two years with this injury, one good and one really bad. In the bad year he can not hit a HR vs a lhp and he has hit one already. I have been stubbornly playing him for 50 AB's based on the injury and the returns are terrible, no more HR's(or even a double) and stats much more in line with the very bad year. In the bad year he has a natural triple. Could he possibly have stretched a triple into an inside the park HR? Of course he is very slow and I have my base running set to conservative. He does not have any extra base advances noted in the "Sim Misc" stats.
vs. L 40 7 0 0 1 1 3 6 .175 .233 .250

It sounds like he is just getting bad rolls, because it is hard to believe he stretched a triple into a HR.

According to the SIM misc stats, I don't believe either is possible. Can we rely on the SIM misc stats to make moves? This would make me say NO.

You can get an inside-the-park homerun as the rare play result on a triple (TR3) off the X chart.

However, 40 at bats is a very small sample size. Patience, Grasshopper! It's more likely he's just having a run of bad luck.

I believe that ballpark singles do not appear as a hitter or pitcher roll in sim misc. I even emailed som support about this issue but did not hear back. If ballpark singles don't show up as hitter rolls in sim misc, then, on average, sim misc should show slightly more pitcher rolls than hitter rolls.

Also, I agree with Coyote, 50 ABs is not enough. Unfortunately, I think we've all seen seasons where 600 AB don't get you close to numbers that a hitter should get.

That was my thought. It is very helpful if accurate, but the Dwyer thing leaves me with severe doubts as to it's accuracy.
