I'm in a face to face retro league that doesn't utilize ballpark effects. Currently, I have the 1968 Dean Chance card, but his record is 1-4 with a 6.02 e.r.a (we play a 54 game season & he only has a couple of starts left). For the next season, i'm thinking of switching to his 1964 card. Should I?

I like his 1964 card better. So, I guess the answer would be yes. However, the fact that he's done poorly over a handful of games would not influence my decision at all.

One thing to keep in mind with 1968 seasons for pitchers is that the cards are worse than you would expect from the stats because the hitting was so poor that year ("The year of the pitcher"). Also, 1968 is a season that has groundball C on the pitchers' cards and no groundball A.
