Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

Pretty new to Strat and have had good results with Dawson and Murphy.

30-30 in a 70's league and Dawson is only average - low SLG. Murphy stats look better than his worst yr (confirmed).
Lead he league in AVG., but only 5th in Runs scored.

Also, need a 4th starter (LHP to replace Kaat) in Tiger Stadium as Seaver, Leonard and Pattin have good WHIP's.

Question - knowing Murphy's card, do I stay LOYAL or use LOGIC and cut bait on Murphy and Kaat for a LHP and a LHB. No guarantee I will replace Murphy's worst card??

There's not much to like about Murphy's second-to-worst card. Plenty of players can exceed expectations for 60 games, and that's what he's done. He's been outstanding against left-handed pitchers, but, unless your division has a heavy dose of left-handed pitchers, he would seem to be much less valuable than 5M. You have a fine outfield without him, so, he won't be missed.

The division's leaders throw all RHP at the moment.... think you are correct!
