90s Ken Hill No Hitter

I'm currently participating in the last season of a four season tournament where we managed teams consisting primarily of players from one franchise. In my particular case, it was the California/Los Angeles Angels. The rules allowed us to carry up to three players on our teams who were not part of that franchise.

In Game 131 yesterday, Ken Hill tossed a no hitter against the Twins hybrid team. Prior to that evening's games, I made a roster change, dropping an underperforming Mark Langston, and replacing him with Bret Saberhagen, who happened to be my third non-Angel (Devil?). Anyway, after drafting Saberhagen, I adjusted my pitching rotation so that Saberhagen could pitch right away (Game 130). The pitcher originally intended for Game 130? That's right, Ken Hill. It would seem that the no hitter would likely not have occurred if Hill had pitched Game 130, as he was originally scheduled for. Lucky break for me!! :D

Anyway, here's the box score for the no hitter: http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/game/425312/783

In all honesty, when I saw that Hill would be going against Clemens, I basically wrote off that game. Clemens pitched brilliantly, allowing three hits, but one of them was a solo homerun to Lance Parrish, the only run of the game.

That was a heck of a box score to accidentally find scrolling through our league's scores. Well done.
