needless to say, the Curtis Floods (managed by Chief Justice) lost in the first round -- two of three losses due to Mike Andrews HR ... after he hit all of 11 HRs in 100+ regular season games

My one and only 70s team had 95 wins. I think I joined that league when the 70s set first came out.

For now, I've been sticking with the 90's set. It's been very difficult to break 90 wins in this set, for me at least. I keep thinking maybe I should consider using one of those one-sided ballparks.

first played SOM (only online) in late 2007 -- till recently was skeptical about the mystery game -- I didn't get the idea -- then, due to the tournament, I read some threads and understood what it was about

I like that it is EXPECTED you will draw down your cap with lots of transactions

will definitely join the next mystery tournament, even though I don't "do" tournaments in SOM
