When in 90's is Saberhagen this awful?

What Saberhagen year do I have in the mystery 90's game? Through 72 games, his ERA is 7.19. Splits for batter/pitcher rolls are even. Fielding behind him is not great but no 4's at any position. He pitches in Anaheim at home. ERA is 5.70 at home, 8.31 on the road. I won't tell you the balance, you tell me what year you think he has where he would be this awful. I've stuck with him from Day 1 thinking he doesn't have a year this bad, he'll turn it around but he keeps getting knocked around just about every start. Does he have a year where he might get knocked around consistently?

You are correct: He doesn't have a card that bad. In fact, every card is very good. So, I would keep him. There is no guarantee he'll start pitching well, but he has a better chance to do so than any replacement.

I used to run a 5-man rotation in the 90s that included Saberhagen. He often didn't pitch up to expectations (I seemed to get much better results from Sid Fernandez). However, I would take him in a second if I ever go back to a 5-man rotation.

Nest start, Saberhagen gets staked to an 8-0 lead in the 2nd inning and he gets destroyed again as my team loses 15-10.
