Just drafted WS and in Game 3 he get injury - he's in 75 w/ .891 OPS, 22 Hrs (low) and 1L; and only his 4th best card.
Playing in Tiger Stadium so hoping I can get 30Hrs.
I also have Clemente, Nettles and Dale Murphy. W/ Clemente and Stargell's 1L, I feel weak vs. RHP.
Should I keep him.... or drop for ???

Foster
Allen
McCovey

I'm feeling I have a bird in hand..... and be patient.

75 is still a very good card, and you are in Tiger. In other circumstances, those available guys would be very tempting alternatives. In this one, I would lean towards keeping him.

Is your league the typical 2/3 Righty SP? If so I would stand pat as well. While not one of Willie's monster years its still a good card especially for that stadium...and he's clutch! :-) The other guys all have lesser years on their cards and it would be a shame to trade out a known for a inferior unknown. I like knowing.

Of the 44 (11x4) SP's, only 9 are LHP..... a little lighter on LHSP than I wished.
B/O 32 AB's Willie is hitting .344!!; but .158 vs. RHP and only 1 dinger (and 1 missed BPHR).
Only 9 AB's in Tiger, but Very balanced H/R splits so far.
I like knowing too!
I think my bigger issue is Dale Murphy appears to be in his 79 4L yr. - that tips my power too far L!!
Looking to find the compliment CF.......

Re: Da. Murphy- just researched a recent 70's season with Murphy's 79 card in Cleveland Municipal: wow!

CIT 149 557 79 153 10 5 37 81 45 98 17 6 .275 .328 .510 .838

In Tiger Stadium, should get that!!!!

Think I'll keep him for now and count on Nettles for LH power.
