Centerfield - Defense vs. Offense

I am in a 70's League, playing at Shea and currently have:

LF Brock
2B Morgan
RF Clemente
1B - Murray
3B Nettles
DH Horton/Carbo
CF

My concern is CF. Can I get away w/ Clemente in CF and play Carbo/Horton; OR drop Carbo and pick up a 2CF who can hit 7th- Maddox, Miller, etc
I've always played a 2CF (at least vs. RHP), but hate to platoon Carbo/Horton.

I never play worse than a 2 in CF, there are many good 2s in the 70s.

I must agree with jayhawk81...defense in center is a must on my teams.

I have to agree....
I think I'll wait until Gm41 to get a read on Horton vs Carbo.
If I can stay +.500 until then.Just confirmed B Bailor in his best (.300BA) yr, so he can platoon w/ Carbo in LF.

Horton got off to a bad start so I dropped him and picked up R. Manning; w/ Bailor's .300/E card vs. LHP.....
