you've come to the right place to learn about the game. I suggest you go the the thread at the top of this post. Then read visick's post at the top of the thread and my post a few down from that on page 1. With those 2 posts, you've got everything you need to do well in the Mystery 60s game (or any other decade in the mystery format). There isn't a mystery-style 50s game, so for that I guess you'll be playing the ATG sets which don't have the same rules as the mystery game.
