Four Twenty Game Winners

I'm sure someone else must have done it before, but I don't recall ever hearing about it or seeing it done.

Figure I'd post it before the inevitable playoff collapse.

I am more impressed by the home runs your team hit.

Well, I'm impressed by the four 20-game winners!

A team with 109 wins is impressive! And Bobby Grich hitting 50 homers is an eye-opener!

I had an '80s team that was one Tommy John win away from accomplishing the feat: http://365.strat-o-matic.com/team/1402869

But that bullpen was even more dominant.

Did it once in the 90s

Also had a 90s team that was 1 win shy of 4 20 game winners.
Even more impressive/lucky was 110 wins with no roster moves one the season started.

Thanks for sharing. I was curious to know if anyone had ever won with no roster moves. That's quite a team! With one more home run you would have had 9 guys with 20 or more. That's clearly a '90s team!

To clarify, I made plenty of moves before the season started, and the team did not win the title. They lost in the finals.
