Most Dominant Stretch

I'm curious to know what is the most dominant stretch a team has ever had. Let's make it over 50 games. I had an '80s team that was 20-20 over its first 40 games. I picked up Joyner and Lowenstein and it proceeded to go 50-13 over its next 63 games. Oddly, it finished the final 51 games at only 26-25, then got hot again in the playoffs to win the championship.

What's the hottest stretch you've seen? Thanks.

I don't think I have ever come close to 50-13 in a given stretch. That's pretty awesome.

Every season I "plan" to meet or exceed the 84' Tigers 35-5 start. The best I have done do far is losing #6 in game 26 for a 20-6 start. Not close really but, my next team will start do it I'm sure.

I just finished a season in a Keepers League that had the most dominant team I've seen. Franky35's Magnolia Boulevard finished the season with a 115-47 record. In the final 68 games, the Boulevard rolled with a 55-13 record, including one stretch when they went 37-2 while having a 22-game winning streak. Hats off - it was fun to watch, even as my team ended up as part of the roadkill.

To add more perspective on how incredible this was, Magnolia plays in a competitive league that had no team win more than 92 games in the previous three seasons. And lest anyone thinks the winning streak happened because Magnolia was in a weak division and they cleaned up at the end of the season in head-to-head competition, another team in that division won 100 games.
