Just drafted my team and have tried to emphasize Pitching, Defense, Speed...........
Good news: have Morgan, Brock and SP Hunter, G Perry.

Here is the team.

Also, have the #1 pick!!!!!
Thinking about either Clemente(injury-proned) or Brett.......
Any thoughts??

I would definitely take Brett. Clemente is good, but there are way more good RF than 3B who fit in the Astrodome, especially LH 3B.

I agree, take Brett. Ralph Garr is an excellent DH for an Astrodome team as well.

If I were you I would take a flyer on Jim Hickman instead of Roberto. He may not look like a good fit but, you never know. Trust me this has nothing to do with me being in that league with you.

Sorry guys.... I took Clemente. I have been burned with Roberto before, but with Brock and Morgan, I was nervous about being too LHB.
But.... I did also get K Hernandez who gives me some of what Brett would, but he hits LHP....
Fingers crossed and thanks for the responses....

No such thing as being to LH.

Howdy,

Yours truly recently made Brett and Carew his two first picks and landed neither of them! It's difficult getting offense in the 'dome. I try to look for guys with good BA, OBP and even Doubles. I'm less than crazy about Reggie Smith in the 'dome, believe it or not.
