Toss Fisk?

I'm on the fence if I should toss Fisk back on my 70's team. Based on performance and injury he's likely on '73. It's a poor OBP year, but he slugs .441, 2 injury. I'm playing in Fulton County so I'm thinking he should probably hit a fair amount of ball park HR's. The .246/.309/.441 is probably not worth the 7.75 mil, but the options in the pool aren't great Ferguson, Dietz, Stearns.

any thoughts?

I say toss, especially because you are working with a 5 man pitching rotation and may some cash to spend on replacement starters. Ferguson could be a nice play; I am not a fan of Dietz unless he is a DH but you could get away with him in Fulton County. But you've seemingly got plenty of offense without Fisk's potential homers. What I might try is to go cheaper at catcher at spend the difference on a starter or on bullpen support. Heck, you have Downing on the bench already. There are a lot of catchers around $3 mill you could choose from and maybe hit on their good year or years.

Agreed, I picked up Downing to give him a quick trial run, he has some solid cards, maybe I'll get lucky and I'll be able to reallocate Fisk's money elsewhere. Thanks for the input.

C is a very thin position, making Dietz and Ferguson pretty decent. Not guys I am happy to start the league in, but 2 of the better replacement Cs unless you are willing to get a cheap, good fielding C that can't hit, which is an option.
73 Fisk is a drop. Period.
Even if you dont pick up Dietz or Feguson, that money can be better spent elsewhere.
