60's Mystery Cards

Only the second time I have played the mystery card set.

Question is: When I look at the play by play, where there is normally the roll listed for a player(like 3-11), it instead has a single number from 1-7. Is that the column on the card that was rolled? If so, what does a 7 mean?

If it is the column rolled, can't that be used to help determine which card is being used?

Thanks....

The 1-7, which you refer, is pitch count for that hitter. For obvious reasons, neither the dice roll nor the column is revealed in the Mystery Game.

Study the first topic in this subforum for more information on reading cards, including the link given in the second post.
