And check out the number of walks on this team. Don't believe more than one or two teams have ever gotten more walks in the 80s game.

I’m a bit late to this discussion. We can expanded beyond George Brett. This is a Mike Piazza season and while not up to George’s standard he still hit .402 with 51 Homers. He was s my starting catcher; II gave some of that back up with steals. Still, this was the first time I’ve had anyone hit 400 in one of the mystery games

Here's Brett in our mystery franchise league, by design we exhausted the player pool by playing 24 teams and each manager could only use players that actually played for their club, so much less shedding of bad years...which Brett took full advantage of...
