Need advice re Drysdale

60’s mystery league.
Drysdale has big salary.
I’m not an expert on the cards but even his worst year looks pretty good.
Home is municipal stadium: 1-7;1-7:1-9;1-9
After 8 starts and 44 innings, he sucks. 6.04 ERA.
Much worse on road 8 vs 3 ERA at home. Other stadiums in the league are typical. Not everybody has Fenway.
There is no one really bad game - he gives up a lot of runs almost every game.
Is it just random or am I missing something?

His only actual season where he allowed more hits than innings is his worst card of 1966. That is still a pretty good card but generally speaking if you know you have a player's worst card you would be better off trying someone else.

You might check to see that he hasn't been overly unlucky on getting may more rolls on the hitter's card instead of his own. If it is about even I would try a different pitcher.

Thanks. How do I check the rolls? I thought those were hidden.

Wow. Cool. He has about 20 percent more off hitters card. Thanks. Never knew about that.
