1990 Harold Baines -1993 card

PostWed Mar 27, 2019 12:19 am

...so I've got Harold Baines and it has been revealed I have his 1993 card with an OPS of .900 3R and I platoon him at DH vs. RHP. That is the good news, bad news is he's got a 4 injury rating....is it worth keeping him because of the production? ...or will he be injured too much to make a difference....anyone with any history of this dilemma?

I would keep him and look for a cheap good card as a backup (such as Reggie Jefferson and Lyle Mouton)

I would definitely keep him. As suggested above, be sure you have an inexpensive Plan B for when he is injured.

Also, being a platoon player makes the high injury chance just a bit less painful. Say be gets hurt for 10 games, chances are two or three games will be against left handers where he would have sat anyway.
