I have Brian Roberts who has only 2 cards with a hbp on them vs Righties and both result in an injury. He was hbp in the first inning of a game vs Curt Schilling but was not injured. What is happening here? There are no hbp on a pitchers card so I dont understand why he wasnt hurt.

The reason is that some hbp+inj result in the player staying in the game. This is the equivalent of the trainer or team doctor coming out to look at a player and allowing the player to stay in the game. I think that happens about 10% of the time on an injury but I don't know the exact percentage of how often that happens.

Thanks for the response. I am always learning about the differences between my experience with Cards and dice using the SADV rules vs the different rules used by computer play.
