No restriction on players (draft), but again before game #1, you will have to carry only :

***4 PURE RP MAX (112 available) 24x4=96***
***7 SP Max (181 available) 24x7=168*******

Because of the roster limit (24 players) you will have either 10 pitchers+14 hitters, 11 pitchers+13 hitters... (70's only)

After game #41 you will have the possibility to have 1 more players on your roster. (25)

Are there enough cards in the 1980s set to make up a 24-team league?

Only 60's has not enough players.

+++I have add some rules for roster : Exactly 24 players, 2 catchers max for both 70's and 80's, and 4 pure RP max.
