I would appreciate if someone can double check my lists. Anyone listed who shouldn't be? Have I missed anyone? Please let me know of any errors or oversights.

A reminder: for the 70s, season 1 is NO DH, and season 2 and 3 are DH.

Congrats to the 4 playoff finalists and good luck in the 60s season 3 post-season.

We don’t need to wait for the playoffs to get going on the 70s, since the draft order is based on the cumulative 60s regular season records.

You can keep any 70s-eligible players on your current roster at the start of the 70s, as long as you autodraft them. (With the exception of players with 0.75 in the 70s, who are free agents each year and 0.75 players in the 60s, who are free agents in the first season of the 70s.)

The draft to start the 70s is a 5-round snake draft. It will take place on the message board, where I will post the players eligible to be drafted (only players who did not have a 60s card, and who’s first season is 72 or earlier).

Here’s the draft order (a couple of ties broken by overall run differential):

1. Gritch
2. samh
3. generationm1
4. killermarc
5. MGoren
6. BC Manager
7. salmonbellies*
8. nol
9. franky
10. sphilipp
11. brifas*
12. jsam

*Won tiebreaker by having a lower cumulative run differential in the 60s.

Teams can give up their current ballpark in this draft and use a draft pick to select a new one (a 70s ballpark not already taken). Ballparks can only be changed at the start of a new decade. If you plan to change your park, please declare before making your first pick. No one has to draft a new park for the 70s, as everyone's park is available in the 70s.

There will probably be a pick clock after a round or two, depending how long it's taking. We don't want 5 rounds to take forever. Also, you can pass your pick in the later rounds if there's no one you want.

None of these are rookies. They all had 60s cards so they're not eligible for the draft. Only players who are new to the 70s are available in the draft. I think the players you posted were free agents as of last season so that means they could be put on anyone's AD card. (But I haven't checked to confirm they were all free agents.)

I pulled those names from the list of free agents in the current 60s league. So, now I understand they can't be drafted on the message board but can be put on the autodraft card.
