We need three new owners for a "live" draft that is tentatively scheduled to begin on the evening of Aug. 1.

Here is how this Keeper League works: There is a 3 season cycle. First year is a complete 26 round "Live" draft including a unique stadium. The last Live draft had a 2 hour draft window and lasted about a week. This Live draft will have a one hour window so should take a few days. The 2nd and 3rd seasons are complete keepers where each team starts with the same roster that they finished with. We are currently nearing the playoffs of Season 3. The new league will be the first season of a 3 season cycle.

Since the league has 24 teams, I feel it is more realistic. There are very few high-priced free agents and good pitching is in short supply.

great! Just need one more. I'll set up the league. As noted above, the league is a total keeper league that runs in a 3 season cycle. The first season (the upcoming season) is a full 26 Round Live Draft that SOM has set up. You can try out a Mock Live Draft here: https://365.strat-o-matic.com/mockdrafts

After the first season, each team keeps every player on their roster that you finished the season with. So, in Seasons 2 and 3, each begins the preseason with the exact roster that they finished the previous season with. Then teams can make free agent moves in the usual way.

The draft is scheduled to start at 8 PM on Thursday Feb. 22. It looks like we need an emergency replacement for a no-show. We have 23 in, so one more and we draft.

The basic rules are pasted above. It is a complete 26 round redraft (including stadium) and this is followed by 2 years of complete keeper (you can keep all the players on your roster at the end of each season). Then, the cycle begins again with a complete redraft. We are at the beginning of a 3 year cycle - complete redraft. Sign up today and we draft using SOM's live draft feature with 1 hour allotted per pick - draft takes a few days and there are queues so you only need to check in about once per day.
