LEAGUE : BUILD YOUR OWN FRANCHISE 80's -

First season 10 rounds draft (9 players - 1 stadium)

1)PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

A player’s eligibility is based on the years represented on his card – specifically the first and last.
A)A player’s rookie season is the first year on his card – if their first card is pre-1981 or 1981, then 1981 is their rookie season.
b)A player’s retirement season is based on the last year on their card. Same for each decade.

2)RESERVING PLAYERS

Teams reserve players by keeping them on their team roster. During the season, you have rights to any eligible player on your team, but once released they are available to any other team.

At the end of every season, you retain rights to all players on your roster for next season . ALL PLAYERS MUST BE ON YOUR DRAFT LIST, IF THEY ARE NOT, THEY WILL BECOME FREE AGENTS.***

***ALL PLAYERS 1M AND LESS ARE free agents every season, with no team reserving their rights season-to-season. Eligible for the 2 rounds draft and AUTO-DRAFT.

3)DRAFT
Season 1 : 1981, All players eligible (PRE 1981 or 1981 OVER 1M) + all players 1M and less
Season 2, 1982 to Season 6, 1986
***Rookies : 2 rounds draft every season (12-1, 1-12). Rookies + Players 1M and less.
NEW : No FREE AGENTS OVER 1M AVAILABLE IN THE 2 ROUNDS DRAFT BEFORE 1987***. AUTO-DRAFT ONLY.

NEW : Rookies available for draft 1982 : First card 1982 / + 1.. If you choose a rookie from 1983 he will not be available to play in 1982. Same rules will apply for every next draft or decade
***If you pick a Rookies , Year +1 in the first round, you can't take another one in the 2nd round

PLAYERS NOT DRAFTED will be available to any team as free agents (available through the auto-draft, waivers) as long as they are eligible to play.

4)Unique ballparks, to be picked during the inaugural draft. You will be able to change it after any season for one that is available / BEFORE THE AUTO-DRAFT.

5)Division ; Random
"Trade deadline : Trade deadline is game 141. Beside that, trade can be done at anytime in the off-season. No trade of picks. Swap picks yes, at least 1 player on each side must be keepers.

6)Penalty for ineligible players:

***Ineligible players. Player salary minus 750K.
1)FIRST OFFENCE
A)Max 1.5M
B)Min 750K
2)2nd offence DOUBLE
3)3rd offence TRIPLE
IF THE PLAYER (HITTERS & PITCHERS) PLAYS MORE THAN 15 GAMES THE PENALTY IS DOUBLE.
IF THE PLAYER (HITTERS & PITCHERS) PLAYS MORE THAN 30 GAMES THE PENALTY IS TRIPLE.

7)New Rules :

Draft 1982 to 1986, 2 rounds 12-1, 1-12. You can choose only 1 player from the + 1 year.

1987 : 1 round draft (12-1). All remaining rookies from 1987 not taken in the 1986 draft, All free agents from 1986, all players 1 M and less***(with no team reserving their rights) .

1988 : 1 round draft (12-1). **1988 ROOKIES,** All free agents from 1987, all players 1M and less***(with no team reserving their rights. .

1989 : 1 round draft (12-1). **1989 ROOKIES, FA 1988, «1M
