Can someone help explain something to me. This is now the second time that it has happened in our league in which a team (this time it was mine) was auto drafted and it value of the roster exceeded the league maximum of 80 million.

1. How does this happen? During the regular season you can never make transactions that violate the roster cap.

2. How do I fix this? I am the commissioner of the league and I'm not exactly sure how to go about fixing this error.

So this happens sometimes during the autodraft when a player you had selected is taken elsewhere and it autodrafts a similar player with a higher salary.

There is nothing that needs done. You just are unable to make any transactions unless it results in your team getting below the cap threshold. If you don't want to make any moves at all this season, then you don't have to. But if you do, then you have to take a lower priced player to get below the cap.
