Here are the rules:

Aloha! Welcome to the 60s Mystery Card Franchise League (with a twist)!

You will own a franchise in this league. Just choose a team from the list below at the end of the instructions. You must choose one of the 12 teams listed. Use the actual team name and city, and the appropriate stadium. For the draft, choose at least 25 players. Except for 5 free agents (we'll explain below), each of the players must have cards for at least one season with your chosen team or franchise. For example, the Braves franchise spent parts of the decade in Milwaukee and Atlanta. If you choose the Braves, your players must have played one or more seasons in Milwaukee or Atlanta.

Free Agents

Your team is allowed to have up to 5 free agents who did not play for your chosen franchise. Free agents must not have a card with a season played for any of the 12 league franchise teams. You can choose up 5 free agents in the initial draft, and you can also add free agents during or after waivers, but you must maintain at least 20 players with at least one card for your team.

Draft Phase

You can draft players with at least one card for your franchise, but remember that you may have competition. A number of players have cards with more than one franchise in the league. This means you may not get all of the players on your draft list.

Waivers & Free Agents

During and after waivers, teams can adjust rosters while keeping within the eligibility rules.
If you drop a player before or during the season, that player is considered "up for grabs" and can be picked up by another team, as long as the eligibility rules are followed. The rules will be strictly enforced.

Trades

Trades are OK and part of the fun, and there are no restrictions. You are allowed to trade for any player at any time. This opens up a lot of possibilities. The Yankees acquire Hank Aaron! The Braves trade for the "Say Hey Kid"!

All are welcome! Come join in, and build the ultimate 1960s franchise!
