It's time to sign up for the super-duper, mega-ultra-hyper, ultimate 78 round-3 season draft!
The rules:
- The draft will encompass every player in the 70s, 80s, and 90s mystery card games.
- It is 100% your choice as to which season you draft a player from in any given round as long as you have 3 legal rosters meeting the cap requirements at the end of the draft.
- 70s/80s: 10 pitchers/15 hitters/1 stadium
- 90s: 11 pitchers/14 hitters/1 stadium
- minimum players per position still apply (2 catchers, etc:) basically, it has to be a team legal team as per autodraft rules.
- 80 million salary cap, DH used in all 3 leagues.
- Keep in mind the 60 million cap floor. It is every owners responsibility to make sure you dont draft over 80 mil under 60 mil.
- Drafting a player in one league does NOT grant you the rights to that player in another league.
- Once the season starts, there are no restrictions.
- Trades can NOT be made between leagues in order to preserve competitive balance. That would only work if this was a long term keeper league.
- It is every players responsibility to keep track of who has been drafted and who is available. There is a lot to keep track of, so there are likely to be mistakes, so we'll try to have as much patience as possible, but be careful.
- This draft is not for the impatient. Expect that it will take a whileI would like to start without a clock, but we will consider adding one if necessary.
- I would like to start all 3 leagues within a reasonable timeframe. Perhaps start the 70s, then 1-2 weeks later the 80s will start then antoher 1-2 weeks later the 90s will start.
- Same divisions throughout each league for fairness
- Please only those who are dedicated to seeing this draft and each league through to the end.
I'm sure I forgot to add something. I'll keep updating this post as necessary.
Those who showed interest in the old thread will get first crack at signing up. Those folks have 24 hours to confirm being in or they will be removed.
