As I recall, Bernie was pretty hesitant about adding these cards, and only put them in on a provisional basis.

What possible evidence is there that Lajoie's .426 season is fantasim?? Compare the homeruns on that card to Vaughan's in the context of the era. Don't think that Lajoie's homeruns are overstated and that is what the problem with the fantasim cards is. Vaughan and Mathews fantasim cards essentially double the number of 'natural' homeruns and then add 8 #. Not so Lajoie's card. Just one of the best seasons anyone ever had and a great player. Who else had their team named after them while they were still playing. I'm not aware of the NY Ruth's or the Detroit Cobbs.

That said, the fantasim cards need to go --ASAP -- and should be replaced with the correct cards. Mathews and Vaughan's best seasons are welcome, with the real strat cards.

Duffy and Lajoie were key additions to strengthen small ball. The game is dominated far too much by ballpark homerun's. That is why I successfully lobbied Bernie to add the 1894 cards that he did. Balance.

Bernie said so when he ported both Arky and Lajoie at the same time.

It that's true than Lajoie's card should be replaced with the correct card. But show me the relevant Bernie quote, please.

"They're STILL Arky Vaughan 1935 and Nap Lajoie 1901, though, and are the ones that have been powering FantaSim for all these years. And they're the only ones that I can present to you at this time"
